Cream Cheese Loaf

Mar 17, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Yesterday was a lazie2 day! I spent most of yesterday, reading away. I finished reading a novel of abt 600 pages. I’m AMAZED tht I could do it! *grins* I started reading at 3pm and took little breaks here and there. I did sum laundry, ate, made onion crepes for my bro and had a warm night shower. That’s it! At ard 11pm, while reading….

Mom: Wah, hot2 bread, top with butter and sugar! (While watching sum bread adv)
ME: Tomorrow, I’ll make sum bread. Been weeks since I baked any.
Mom. Yes, then we can have bread for breakfast.

*write down a recipe, novel in hand….proceeding to kitchen
Me: I’m going to bake now. By 3am, It will be ready. Tomorrow we can eat for breakfast. If I were to bake tom morning, can only eat for lunch.
Mum (nods in agreement)

Soooo, I ended up in E kitchen by 11.30am! Measuring, sieving…washing up. blah2. By 12.30am, Dough was kneading away in bread maker. I made cream cheese bread. Too many bloggers baking tht and I had to give it a try too! The kitchen smells heavenly as the bread was baking away! Bread was done before 4am. While still hot, I sliced a pc and shared it with mom. Just needed to know “how” it tasted! It’s really yummy! Mom wanted another slice :p She was eating bread at 4am! Pre-breakfast? 😀 N yah, I prefer this to the Hokkaido Bread :)Its super soft! The next time round, am gonna add some oregano and some garlic powder to it!
