- 4 cloves garlic, finely grated
- 3 tbsp butter (or 4 tbsp butter if not using olive oil)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 loaf crusty bread, split
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs or 3/4 tsp dried mixed herbs (I used a mix of rosemary, thyme and oregano)
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together.
- Spread the garlic butter on the baguette.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
