- 1 cup Quinoa
- 2 cup water or stock
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (if the stock does not have enough seasoning)
- Measure 1 cup of quinoa and place it into a pot.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Drain.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan/pot and toast quinoa for 5 minutes(optional).
- Add water/stock and bring to a boil:
- Season with salt and cook the quinoa covered for 15 minutes.
- Once done, remove the pot from the flame and let it stand for 2 minutes.
- Fluff and serve.
