Red Velvet Hot Chocolate

Dec 31, 2019 · Leave a Comment

Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
This is it! Final hours to the end of this decade and the start of 2020!
Looking back on 2019, it has been pretty much crazy in quite several ways for me so I am hoping for a peaceful, and easy-breezy 2020. I am getting a bit old for all the action and would much rather just spend my non-working hours, lying in bed and watching Netflix for free. (Thanks NK) Yup too old for the drama but never too old for a cup of this Red Velvet Hot Chocolate though especially since this hot chocolate has a gorgeous reddish-pink colour that is very festive and O so perfect for cold December.
Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
This Red Velvet Hot Chocolate is not only easy and decadent, most importantly it does not contain ingredients that you can’t pronounce. Okay fine, I meant ingredients I can’t pronounce. A mix of milk, cocoa, chocolate, a hint of red food colouring and some sugar to sweeten it up. You can omit the sugar if you prefer. You then top it with whipped cream + cheese mix OR you can just do whipped cream. Totally adaptable. Oh, and obviously you can top it with marshmallows, sprinkles, whatever your heart desire. Go simple or as big as you want.
To close off this year in a chill way, I did mine with a drizzle of choco fudge, sprinkles and some red velvet Oreos.
Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
I know with the new year approaching, “health goals” must have been made. But there is really nothing wrong with enjoying some hot chocolate. Why would you say no to a mug of warm, deliciously comforting, chocolatey goodness to end of the year right???
Here’s to an exciting new year and all of the wishes and promises it has to offer you.
